My Creative Journey

The early paths of creativity

My creative journey began at the age of 14, when I first discovered gouache. I was drawn to the result, and that discovery sparked a desire to continue experimenting. Over time, I explored different techniques and materials, including oil painting, felt-tip pen drawing, and silk painting, in search of the artistic language that could best express my inner world.

I found in visual poetry my first language for making visible what lived within my inner world — emotions, questions, uncertainties and intuitions that do not always find their place in words.

With time, this search began to take on new forms. Mandalas emerged, initially as a drawing challenge, patiently created with felt-tip pens as an exercise in concentration, detail and discovery. Repetition, colour and geometry became a kind of silent language. Later, words and messages joined the mandalas, bringing image and language even closer together and giving voice to what each creation sought to express.

From intuition to artistic expression

Alongside mandalas, other drawings and intuitive writing began to emerge. Without necessarily following a plan or a predetermined intention, I allowed the lines and words to find their own way. Drawing and writing became forms of listening — ways of embracing what arose spontaneously and giving expression to what, often, I did not yet know how to name.

Image, word, colour and intuition began to intertwine. Each language created space for the next, and all nourished one another, gradually revealing an inner universe seeking to become visible.

This journey unfolded organically, as though each creative experience were preparing the way for the next. From visual poetry to mandalas, from drawings to intuitive writing, from images to messages and, finally, to angels, I gradually came to recognise an artistic language that felt increasingly my own.

This is the voice I now recognise within myself: the ability to transform pain into wisdom, shadow into light, rupture into possibility, and experience into creation.

It is also from this transformation that my angelic visions emerge. The angels become an expression of an inner universe where what has been lived, felt and imagined come together. Giving them form means making visible what first manifests as sensation, intuition or presence. Each figure carries something of this journey: vulnerability and strength, shadow and light, falling and the possibility of rebirth.

Where art found its meaning

Creating has therefore become, for me, more than producing an image or putting words on a page. It is a process of listening, discovery and transformation. It means allowing drawing to reveal, writing to give voice, intuition to guide, and whatever life places before me — even when difficult — to find a new form through creation.

Perhaps this is the essence of my creative journey: transforming in order to understand, creating in order to find meaning, and giving form to the invisible, allowing what is born within me to find, through art, its place in the world.
